Here are the basic guidelines that will help you live a nice life in 0.0-sec.
.) ALWAYS have local open. Drag local-window to a seperate screen from your other chat channels.
.) ALWAYS join the home fleet (alliance rule). Wings and squads can be made on request by the fleetboss.
.) ALWAYS be on comms (alliance rule). Join teamspeak, it's mandatory when in null, but encouraged even when in empire or when playing other games.
.) Join and actively post in the intel channel: When spotting neuts/reds post the name and system and if possible shiptype.
.) Ask for scouts. When moving stuff between systems, ask for people to scout ahead so you don't jump in your expensive stuff into a gatecamp.
.) Never slowboat stuff into our space. We do have carriers/rorquals/jump freighters in alliance. Let them ship your stuff in. Alliance policy is that anything bigger then destroyer should be brought in by capital.
.) When neuts/reds jump in, SAFE UP. Don't think your faction/deadspace fitted PvE ship stands a chance. Also never engage a single neut solo, always expect he has friends ready to jump in.
.) Most important, have fun and play nice. Leave work related problems or wife/gf aggro in RL. Never shout or yell at corp/alliance mates and take positive criticism.
